Regulations

 

1. Conditions of entry: To gain admission to the campsite, please first contact the manger. By staying on the campsite, you are subject to the regulations and you accept to conform to them.


2. Formal identification: Before staying at least one night on the campsite, please present your ID to the manager and fill in the required forms.

Unaccompanied minors can only be admitted with written permission from their parents or carers.

Dogs can only be admitted on presentation of a certificate of rabies vaccination.

 

3. Setting up: Once the formalities have been dealt with, you'll be given an access key (opening of barrier) for a deposit (see tariff). The tent or the caravan and all other equipment have to be set up in the allocated space.


4. Reception: Open :

- from 10 am to 12 am and 3 pm to 8 pm in high season. (,june,july,august)

- from 10 am to 12 am and 4 pm to 7 pm in low season. (may and september)

5. Payment: Payment must be made at the reception. You can see the tariff decided upon by the council at the entry to the campsite and at the reception; every payment has to be made the day before departure, and guests have to alert the manager of their departure. The access key has to be returned at the end of the stay or season. In case of loss, damage or no return, the deposit cannot be returned to the guests.

 
6. Noise: Please avoid making noise which could disturb your neighbours. Devices with speakers have to be kept at a reasonable volume. You should close the doors of your vehicle and the boot as discreetly as possible.

Dogs and other pets are admitted (see tariff) but mustn't be let without surveillance. They must not be left behind on the campsite even if locked up. the owner carries a civil responsibility.

7. Visitors: With the manager's permission visitors can be admitted and are under the responsibility of the guests. A visitor fee must be paid.

Visitor's cars are not allowed on the campsite. A parking lot is available outside: visitors must leave the campsite before 10pm.


8. Vehicles: 

Please drive slowly inside the campsite (less than 10Kph). The access barrier is closed from 10pm to 7am. It is forbidden to drive inside the campsite during this period. If you need your vehicle before 7am, please leave your vehicle outside the campsite the day before. It's strictly forbidden to park in neighbouring spaces, to block the road or to hinder the access of new arrivals.


9. Use of facilities: The environment of the campsite must be respected. Please keep it clean. You mustn't used water on the ground but empty it into the containers provided.

We recycle, consequently please use the central containers provided (glass, other household waste)

Used batteries can be placed at the manager's office in the designated small container.

Large objects are to be driven to the rubbish tip in Thierville. It is forbidden to wash your vehicle.

Animals waste must be cleared away.

You can only do the laundry in the designated washing tubs. Shoes and fish cannot be cleaned in the showers or washing tubs.

Young children must be accompanied by an adult to the toilets and showers.

Please respect the plants and flower beds. Do not hammer nails into the trees, cut branches or plant anything.

Inflatable pools for babies must have a diameter of less than 1m and must not contain water to a level higher than 10 cm. The carer is responsible for the permanent surveillance.

Electric sockets mustn't be modified or overloaded (5 amps maximum per site).

Electric cables must be unplugged when you are away. (for week-end residents).

Damage to vegetation, wiring, ground, facilities belonging to the campsite or guests (caravan, tent, car...) are to be paid for.

 

10. Safety: 

Fire: Open fires (wood, coal...) are strictly forbidden. You can use barbecues (except in windy conditions), on condition that they don't bother or endanger anyone else. Fire extinguishers can be used. In case of fire, please call the fire brigade (18) and alert the manager. First aid box is at reception.

Theft: The manager is responsible for the objects left at the reception and for the general surveillance of the site; the guest is responsible for his own site and must alert the manager of any suspicious persons. Guests should take all usual precautions to keep their belongings safe.

Flooding: In case of flooding emergency, the lower areas must be evacuated and guests must follow the manager's orders. (See evacuation map at the reception)

 

11. Games:

Avoid any loud games near facilities. Please ask the manager before going to the meeting or games room. It can only be used for quiet games.

An outdoor playground can be used by children. 

Children must always be supervised by the responsible adult.

 

12. Unoccupied camping equipment:

Unoccupied tents, caravans.... cannot be left on the site unless the manager gives permission and only on the designated spot.

A fee must be paid for this.

 

13. Posting:

Regulations are displayed at the entrance of the campsite and at the reception. Guests can request a copy.

 

14. Breach of rules and regulations:

In case of guest disturbing others or not respecting the regulations of the campsite, the manager or the mayor can, orally or in witting, issue the guest in question with a warning.

In case of re-offence, the mayor reserves the right to ask the guest in question to leave the campsite. In case, of breach of the law, the police will be called.
